My home is Mohkinstsis (MOH-kin-stiss), the Blackfoot name for Calgary, in the traditional territories of the Blackfoot people, the Nakoda people of the Stoney Nation, the Beaver people of the Tsuut'ina Nation, the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6), and all the people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 territory of Southern Alberta. I would like to acknowledge my immense gratitude and respect for the traditional landowners who have cared for our earth for generations and who continue to protect it today.
